A Year Long Journey into Mark's Gospel for the HOCC

Have you ever seen a movie only to wish you would have read the book first? There is something about digesting a story...slowly...one..word..at..a time that allows you to fully invest and be captured by the content. So many times we assume we know the story of Jesus and want the "movie" so we can watch it and move on. But what if we took the time to read about Jesus - word by word - and allow the story to immerse us into the world God imagines? This year we begin a journey through Mark's gospel. We will take it line by line. We will stop, take notice, make notes, and watch as the world is invaded with good news. But the best news? It's STILL good news for us today. Just Jesus.
