The story of God's words begins with a reminder of deliverance. Because God brought Israel out of Egypt - out of slavery, the expectation is for God to be the only one who is served by Israel's worship. This morning we hear afresh the invitation to remember our need for deliverance and God's beloved desire for relationship.
