New Sermon Series
Grateful Strength: Three Core Expressions of our Faith
When Paul writes letters to his young protégé Timothy, he writes with great purpose, clarity, and conviction. In his first letter, he writes "I am grateful to Christ Jesus our Lord who has strengthened me." Paul notes that he has a "grateful strength" because of Christ. The very thing we need in the midst of so much tension and turmoil; a grateful strength. For three weeks, we will explore three core expressions of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ: water, word, and table. And in our exploration, we will be given the opportunity for deeper thanks, to Christ, in the midst of this season.

Nov. 7 - 10am - Water
This Sunday morning we explore a key expression of our faith - the waters of baptism. Come to the waters today as we learn anew about the tender mercy of God and how grace overflows to us because of Christ.
Children's activity sheets are available each week inside of Door K.

November Love First Challenge
Caring and Sharing Christmas
Throughout November, we are collecting $50 Walmart gift cards to provide Christmas for children. The gift cards give the parents the option of shopping for their child, or giving their child the gift card to shop for himself/herself.
You can place your gift card(s) in the offering box on Sunday. You can also make a donation of cash or check ($50 per child) with Caring and Sharing in the memo line, or on the front of your cash envelope and place in the offering box on Sunday. You may also donate online.
Thank you for serving so generously. Your donation will bring such joy to these families! For more info, contact Becky Burroughs at bburroughs@hocc.org.
