Highland Oaks Kids

Kids Leading Today

We believe children are not the church of tomorrow—they are the church of today.

What We Do:
  • Create opportunities for kids to actively participate in the life of our church alongside teens and adults.
  • From greeting and praying in worship to helping with contributions or sharing a communion thought with an adult.
  • We encourage children to serve,  lead, and grow in faith in ways that feel comfortable for them.

Why it matters: Our goal is to nurture their involvement and help them grow as vital members of our faith community.

Join us:  At Highland Oaks, children are at the heart of everything we do. Come be part of our faith community family where there's a place for every child to shine.

Family Ministry

Partnering with Kids and Student Ministries

  • Family First: We believe families are the primary builders of faith in children’s lives.
  • One Community: Children’s and Student Ministries work together as one vital ministry.
  • Inclusive & Empowering: Every family—whatever its shape or story—has value and a place here.
  • Shared Life: We grow faith, weather storms, and celebrate victories together.
  • Modeled Community: Kids experience authentic community that is lived out and accessible.

Bible Classes

Building Faith Through Learning

  • Nursery: Through simple songs and motions, little ones learn what church is, who Jesus is, and how to build healthy relationships.
  • Preschool: Children explore God’s creation and discover how God and Jesus are personal to them.

  • Purposeful Placement: We’ll help you serve where your heart leads.
  • Training & Screening: Volunteers receive clear guidance and training for their specific role.
  • Flexible Commitment: Serve for a set period of time in a role that fits your schedule and gifts.
Your time and love make a lasting impact. Ready to make a difference? Join us today!
