Highland Oaks Kids

Children are the Church of Today

At Highland Oaks, children are at the heart of everything we do. We believe children are not the church of tomorrow—they are the church of today.

That’s why we create opportunities for kids to actively participate in the life of our church alongside teens and adults.

From greeting and praying in worship to helping with contributions or sharing a communion thought with an adult, we encourage children to serve,  lead, and grow in faith in ways that feel comfortable for them.

Our goal is to nurture their involvement and help them grow as vital members of our faith community.

Family Ministry

Family is the Cornerstone of Faith

We believe parents and guardians are the primary faith builders, and we partner with families to nurture spiritual growth. Through intergenerational events, shared meals, and community activities, we create a home where everyone belongs—no matter what family looks like for you.

Bible Classes

Building Faith Through Learning

Every Sunday at 9:00 AM, children from nursery through 5th grade experience engaging Bible classes designed for their age and learning style. Our curriculum uses songs, stories, and hands-on activities to help kids know God and understand their purpose.

Kids Praise

worship Designed for Kids

Three Sundays a month, kids ages 3 through 5th grade enjoy Kids Praise during the sermon—a worship experience tailored for them with singing, scripture, and Bible stories. On the fourth Sunday, we worship together as one family.

Nursery & Nursing Room

Comfort for Every Family

We provide a staffed nursery for children birth to age 3 and a private Nursing Mothers Room in the Worship Center for your convenience.

Special Events
